If you grew up in the 80's you know all about ghoulies, gremlins, critters, and munchies. Having homemade weapons at your reach would keep you safe and your home from blowing up!
Let's get started. Grab a single clothespin and separate it into three pieces. Take the bottom clothespin and cut a 90º angle and a groove. Once you are done carefully making your cuts, make a slit big enough to hold a toothpick or match. Put the top and bottom pieces together and secure them with two rubber bands. Now add back the spring. One end will go where the 90º cut was made and the other end where the groove was made. Note: The spring is your trigger. Let's load up our weapon with some ammo. Line up our targets and fire! You can use a match and light it for a dramatic look too!
Step 2: Homemade Weapon Power Level // 3 Out of 5
Grab another clothespin and separate it into three pieces. Cut a notch underneath the bottom piece. Cut the top piece in half at a 90º angle. Add the spring to the bottom piece. One end will go where the notch was made. The other end will sandwich the clothespin. Place the two pieces together and secure them with a rubber band. Note: Don't secure them too tight - you need some wiggle room to load the trigger. To load the trigger, pull back the top piece to grab the other end of the spring. Now load your weapon with a match, light it up and attack!
Step 3: Homemade Weapon Power Level // 5 Out of 5
If the first two weren't powerful enough for your liking, this one can do some real damage. Note: Please don't use these weapons on living, breathing humans or animals! Thank you in advance! Now for supplies, grab a tube - a paper towel roll is better than a toilet roll since it is stronger and the barrel is smaller for accuracy. Grab a balloon and a roll of duct tape. Cut the paper towel roll in half. Cut the balloon at the base of the neck. Cover one end of the roll with the balloon. Secure the balloon to the roll with some strong duct tape. Your ammo can be anything your imagination can come up with. We used a nickel, which is why we gave this a 5 out of 5 for power. Insert your choice of ammo, pull back and save the world!
